Superb shots! Nice Pterophyllum altum. The other one I believe is Pterophyllum leopoldi judging from the angle of the shot and length of the body.

Last pic shows a Pterophyllum scalare at the top left.

Thanks! I have 4 altums in there. The rest are domestic angels I purchased from the LFS. The one in the 3rd picture is a glowing blue. So that's a leopoldi?

I wasn't sure if what I was seeing was just a light trick from the camera. I've never seen P. leopoldi in blue form. Its body shape makes me think of leo but it could also be a scalare. Definitely not an altum. Where did you get that particular fish?

I obtained all my non-altums from a LFS by my house for about approx $4 at quarter size.
In the picture, that "blue" angel is about a dollar coin size. Here's another picture of him.

gorgeous shots and gorgeous angels

Hmmm...Yup. P. scalare, mate. The previous angles made him look like a leo.

Cool thanks.
The one thing I have learned in this tank, is that getting "dither" angels, like the non-altums I obtained from the LFS, really helps bring out the altums and stimute their appetite. The altums were really shy and "nervous" for a good 6-8 months that I had them. Once I introduced the domestic angels (from the LFS), the altums become voracious beasts!!! :)

Yup. Altums are mostly wild so expect them to be shy but when they see their "teachers", they learn another lifestyle out there.:)
