Can you guys please tell me what you think of the fish pictured? They are wild caught from Brazil & I may be able to get them. I just don't know enough if they are average or of exceptional quality.

The thing with wild angels is they don't really show you their true potential until they have been in your tank under ideal conditions for several months - think 6 months or so. Slowly over time as they acclimate and plump up on food, they show their true colors and iridescence.

But in regards to the stock in the pic you posted, I think they look like good quality fish. I would not hesitate to snap them up. I always look for condition of the fins & no sunken bellies. What's the asking price?

I understand. Well IMO, they look good, but they aren't anything special, just your average wild scalare. If you wanted to avoid the high importing costs, you can get wild angels of this quality & better from several places - Jeff Rapps, Snookn21 or Discus Origins. The price you could expect to pay is $25-$30 plus shipping.

Agreed. Do you know the exact collection point?

Well here is a pic I took just a little while after they arrived from Brazil. THey are still very stressed out in this pic, so I am anxious to see how they look after they settle in!:
