Not all hybrids are agressive:)

It is possible that it is a new species, but they resemble a ram so much that it makes me think otherwise. Can you find out through your distributor?
 
Me and my girlfriend just started our 10 gallon tank with some angel rams we found at a fish store near our home. we never heard of them but thought they would be a great addition to our tank, but i think they are bullying thee other guppys i have in the tank and one of the guppys died.

They are short-bodied or "balloon" rams. IMO they are culls because their short appearance likely comes from a spinal deformity that they are bred for, but otherwise they will act like normal rams. They need warm water, in the mid-80s, and as cichlids they may bully small fish. They also may bully each other since there are only two. Rams do best in small groups.
