so i dont NEED a divider but it would help right? and they r going to have a tank all to them selves

if you dont have any other fish in the tank it should be perfect, once they lay the eggs they will look out for them and fan them so they stay alive, otherwise they die. if they take them in their mouth usually its because they are falling or they want to move them somewhere else, but sometimes they do eat their own eggs.
yea, it is definitely way better if they have the whole tank to themselves, although it is possible to breed them with other fish.
