Hey Everyone, I had bought 6 angelfish more than a year ago when they were quarter size. They are now all adults and have been doing great in my 75 Gallon Tank. I noticed 2 Pairs of them laying eggs recently. Don’t think they are fertile, but wondering if long term is it ok to keep all 6 together? I’m not really looking to raise fry, just like them as a community. Wondering if there aggression towards each other is ok and common or best to rehome some? I have recently decided to change the livestock in the tank, so far there is no other tank mates. So I’m wondering once I add other tank mates will there aggression towards each other calm down?

They will continually be aggressive to each other during mating time, which will probably be every 2 weeks now that you have 2 confirmed pairs. I’d keep a pair and get rid of the rest a s get other fish. Or you can just keep the females. Or, maybe a 75 is enough for a pair on each end of the tank.

Hello. I have a 72 gallon Angelfish tank. I had 4 but now I have 2. I had a pair of Koi and a pair of Platinum Panda's. The Pandas had the left side and the Koi had the right side. The Panda's became very aggressive and bullied one of the Koi's and they died. I decided to take the other Koi to the pet store. I just have the Panda's and they are doing great.
