No, I don't sadly, I've relied upon my LFS for that since they do 'em free. Usually go in every week for one. Regardless, the water looked...weird since I stirred the gravel, so I asked my LFS expert as well as some other nice folks, and they all told me a fifty would be ok. Normaly a 25% is what I do.

So should I just take the water in for testing monday, do a water change, or run around in my underwear screaming? xDDD Just kidding on the last part.

Oh, didn't mean to sound snappish earlier...I'm just flipping out and about to crap a brick after all the work I've put into my angels...x_X I'm sure any monster keeper knows the feeling ^.-

Definately go get a test on Monday, ask for them to write down the exact water parameters if they can. I don't know much about angels, personally never really was impressed by them, but there are other more informative people who know about angels. Once you get them more information, they should be of help to you.

Alright, I'll look into the variations, but I just checked [kept the bodies just in case something came up] all their fins are intact, no missing scales...I've seen them rush at each other, but they've never really fought from what I've seen. Now I'm not putting it out of the possibilities, but right now I just don't think that's what happened... I just don't want to lose all my fish x_X The weird thing though, it was the two biggest, and second biggest that died... I just find that odd for some reason.

Either way, looks like it's time to observe....

Hope my water isn't messed up ._. I would just kick myself.

Well, going to go look up some more ailments and such, thanks guys.

Three angels have died today, no signs of damage, I just found them on their sides. They were eating fine, showed no signs of disease or bacterial infections etc. So I just don't get it. Any ideas? They were my leopard, golden marble, and marble, definately some of my best, and the rest I would rather not lose....help, any ideas? I have no water change equipment at the moment, so no I cannot check it. But my banjo, kuhli, and cory are all fine. I did a fifty percent change last week when I stirred the gravel...help?! I've had these for over six months, and it's really ticking me off to see them dying off one by one, I'm scared I'll wake up and my entire tank is dead.

The best thing you can do for the time being is test the water. Banjos, Kuhli, and Corydoras are very durable fish and I'm not surprised that they "fine".

Perhaps to prevent future incidents, could you provide us with some information: tank size, last cycle, total fish count, is the aquarium new..etc.

Hmm...It's somewhere between 29-40g, it's a breeder tank. All my angels are small, I have a group of five, plus the banjo, kuhli, and cory. I think the size is closer to a 40g simply because it's twice as wide as my 20g, though right around the same length and height. Basically double of it. Anyway it's an older tank, been set up around two years or so, cycled it then x) For about a month before I introduced fish. The most recent water change was last Sunday morning, and it was a 50% due to advice from some friends and LFS. I had it tested last week, didn't get the exact perimeters, but they told me I was good to go so...

could it be possible that 2 paired up and killed the rest. it happens a lot when multiple angels are kept in small tanks.

Good call, Angelfish are semi-aggressive and that aggression grows with time.
