Angelfish. My new Love Hate fish.

I like angels, I used to have a nice big female who laid eggs; was my first introduction to cichlids :)

I love hate all cichlids cause they look epic and are interactive, then murder and/or eat each other and most tankmates

Uh....I highly disagree with OP lmao

My first real angelfish I got as a trio when I was still on the newer side of fish keeping. Turned out to be that I had I believe 2 males and 1 female. Well, the sub dominant male (who was never bullied) just decided that the other guy must suffer and proceeded to rip its eye out and leave it desiccated and dangling by a single blood vessel....needless to say the newley one eyed fish didn't last long with that kinda sudden trauma.

The now killer male went on to live peacefully with the female (no breeding though idk why...I could've been wrong about sexes but they for sure paired up), a full grown blood parrot, my old endli, my albino senegalensis, a JD, probably a pleco of some sort, some silver dollars...and oh yah....regularly bullied and shoved the foot long oscar I had into the corner...

They ain't as soft as you think lmao
