I would likely get a common species like Polypterus senegalus.

Ya I mentioned that God knows when in the thread but bichirs would work but be careful some are nippy towards Angels so research about compatibility with the other fish

Your flowerhorn looks fine other than it doesn't have a big kok (lol) but that is expected out of a juvinile (lol again).

My lfs sells fully in tact frozen fish at about 1-1.5". Should I feed the bichir and/or tire track eel frozen fish once they get larger?

I hoped those pictures were good enough. It's hard to take them when the suncat keeps hiding in one of the darkest, most inconvenient spots in the aquarium.

I can't wait until it gets bigger and starts roaming the aquarium.
