I have some phillipine pinoy blue angelfish around half a dollar size and was wondering if is it possible to add some neon or cardinal tetra as tankmates?

You may add adult neons or cardinals. Half dollar size angels will eat young tetras. My breeder angels easily handle eating adult male guppies. So, don't be surprised if your angel eventually makes a play for the tetras.

I have Black Neon tetras in with my angelfish. None of them have been eaten. I think they would have the same body size as cardinal tetras.....?

you could MAYBE get away with cardinals, i have serpaes with mine and they look great and have a large enough taller body to not be bothered, but i definitely wouldnt do neons, neon tetras are angelfishes' natural prey in the wild so they will definitely eventually be eaten once the angels grow

i have never had any luck with this combo. buy the biggest neons/cardinals that i can find any my angles always seem to suck em down.... good luck with them if you do it. maybe try raising them together?

Neons and Cardinals will in time end up as food. Especially the way they sleep my adult Angels would pick them off at night. Black neons get a little larger. I've always had luck with Glo-Lite Tetras, Serpaes and Harliquin Rasboras being the best.
