The biggest problem in keeping angels and discus together is with feeding. Angel are aggressive feeders they will eat as much as they can as quick as they can. With discus they can be very picky, they would much rather feed mid water or graze from the bottom. Worst thing that can happen is the discus become stressed during feeding time, then they will not eat at all.
Some discus will become aggressive feeders though, mine are pigs and compete with one another for food. If you should decide in giving the combo a try, I would go with adult discus, they are more stable then juvinilles.
