Angels have a film on eyes

looks like contact lens. does anyone know what this may be? if so, how to treat.

Cloudy eyes can be treated simply by more frequent water changes.

It is most likely a water quality problem, which is why you were advised to do water changes. Do you know your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels? In my experience, when Angels are exposed to high nitrate, they usually exhibit cloudy eye or shredded fins.

thks, will follow up. added jungle meds & seems to be working. definitely have to do more w/c's

after the meds & w/c's angels are fine. funny there was not chg in their behavior or eating habits. had been working long hrs in retail so had neglected my angel tank.
