ok, what is the time frame / dates i should put in fish, (two fish this day, two fish this day...) and i think i want to put in a clown loach or two, bad idea? I know they grow big but in like 2-3 years i will prob upgrade tank.

clown loaches do well in schools of 3+, but you shouldnt get them unless you plan on upgrading to a 60+ gallon tank in the next few years. they reach about 8-12" or so, but are very slow growers and would be fine in a 20g for about a year or two. they should be upgraded when they reach about 4-5" though so only buy them if you know for a fact youll be able to upgrade.

with schooling fish, its best to add them all at once. with more aggressive fish, its best to add them after the schooling fish are full grown and well established in the tank.

With the current angelfish are fine with almost any current you throw at them. Just not a current you would use to replicate a fast river. I do nothing to slow down the current from my fry too my breeding pairs. And they grow bigger and strong than the fish i have seen that are raised with out the current.

ok, so in the tank right now i have 1 angelfish, 1 dwarf blue gourami, 5 neon tetras, 2 cory cats and 1 guppy. Any thoughts?

Your done as far as stocking wise. Keep up on the water changes so that the 1 Angelfish (Assuming that it is quarter size) doesn't get stunted.

the platy and male guppy are no longer in that tank, and why cannot i add more fish? BTW i have a tetra whisper 20 and an aqueon 20 filter going and soon to be air stones

Personally, a 20 gallon is to small for a growing Angelfish. As well as having all the other fish in there with it.

You have an Angelfish that has the potential to have it's body get as big as the palm of your had, 5 tetras, 2 corys, a dwarf gourami and a guppy, right? In a 20 gallon if you go by the inch per gallon rule. The Angelfish when full grown will take up like 7" of that, 5 tetras = roughly 5 inches of fish, thats 12. A dwarf grourami, that will take up 3 so now it's 15". a guppy 1". So 16" now. 2 corys. thats another 2". Your at 18. You could add like 1 more cory, but you will need to stay ontop of your water changes.
