Good point! I keep him well fed just for that reason. Another tip for you monster catfish keepers: I built a nice dark hiding place right next to the intakes of my canister filters. I'll give you guys a guess where that catfish and AUL poops.......

Here's a few pics of my largest two fish in there favorite hiding spot. You can see one of the intakes of the canister filters. The other one is vertical and can't be seen from this point of view........

really ? they like to poop in dark places ? or is it just AULs and catfishes that does that ? My fishes poops in the open....
Good question. It seems like to me they are only in two places. 90% of the time they are in the dark corner near the intakes. The other 10% of the time they are under the feeding hole waiting for food. Percentage wise I think I get most of the poop with this set up
