Animal Planet is kinda getting on my nerves

the animal planet that i grew up with (steve irwin, jeff corwin) is a thing of the past that will probably never return.
today's animal planet is a joke, with discovery and the history channel not far behind. all i have to do is see a commercial for "fatal attractions" to get a sick feeling that shows like that, and the ideas they put into the minds of uninformed viewers could very well end up destroying the exotic pet industry. i rarely if ever watch animal planet or the discovery channel now, i just can't stand the BS that they seem to be constantly spewing out.

Im ok with all the stupid stuff, they have to have ratings after all. Its the proselytizing against exotics that really kills me. Theyre not the only ones doing it either, someone posted an episode of Penguins of Madagascar (a childrens cartoon) a while back where the villain was a snakehead eating baby ducks. It spewed all the myths and scary pseudo facts you hear on the news and acted like snakeheads were evil and should be wiped out. All that and they didnt even bother to make it look like an actual snakehead!
