My aquarium consists of 2 oscars 2 peacock eels a kissing gourimi 2 knife fish and 2 plecos if i add a animal skull to my tank do you think this would be alright this skull has to be at least 4 years old i have boiled it just want your opions ons this or if you have a skull in the tank just let me know thanks!?!?!?

Was anything used like formaldehyde to preserve the skull?

If you boiled it then I don't see why not unless you also added chemicals to it to get it whiter or something. If you can maybe sit the skull in a 10 or 20g tub and set up some small amount of filtration and put a feeder fish in there and see what happens :)

Bones and skulls will raise the pH of the water, just like driftwood softens water. I am not sure if you fish can take a small pH spike. Oscars are hardy, so he should be fine.
