It depends on what you like. I would do cichlids, but it's up to you.

If u want bichirs I would suggest 75, I have a delhezi and sengal in min. And those are the smaller species or even a 40 breeder I think would be better due to 18inch wide footprint

They always hide. Don't bother with them. Macrognathus circumcinctus is a better option.

I had 1 in my 75, didn't adjust well and died but yea I believe they reach around 7 inches

Also where do you guys get your fish

Iv only ordered rarer fish from venders on the forums, just find a local mom and pop shop try to stay away from petco and **** like that
