Another Awesome New Pleco :D

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
:rip was dead when I got home today sadly. Looked at it carefully before disposing of the body and noticed either a large bite or burn mark on the left size so I'm thinking either it got burnt on the heater or a very large, dominant, male fry attacked it.

I go to a bunch actually (3 main ones). I got this guy from Aquariums and Ponds by Namado which is my favorite of the three, it's a very small store that's just starting out but the guy who owns it is a very well respected hobbyist in the area and if he took an IQ test would probably come out as a genius, which is probably why he's got so much business in the 5 months it has been open.

Oh cool man, I go mainly to Elmers Aquarium in Monroeville, although I'll have to check out Aquariums and Ponds by Namado.

Sorry bro, I know how much you love your cats
Sounds like a heater burn because from what you've told me about the fry I find it extremely unlikely one of the little ones did it.

Cool! I shop there as well, they sure have a great selection although one of their employees said an adult vulture catfish could go in a 40 so :P. But their stock is good.

Do you happen to be a GPASI member? If not you should join, it's a great organization!!! Next meeting is this Friday and the presentation is on fish farming, non-members can go to one or two meetings before joining. If you're interested and not already a member here you go: http://gpasi.org

PS, since you're local that Paima in your avatar is looking real familiar :)

My longfin super red always hides behind my heater, even when it's on and she never gets hurt...
