Sounds like a good deal. That lens I believe is pretty good all around. Pretty good from decent close ups to far distances. Jus make sure everything is in working order. Bundles like that on amazon go for $100 more

That's a good price. I paid $500 for my D50 with two lenses, so it sounds about right. I just wish I had that 18-55 lens.
