I am moving out of state and need the money. 29 Gallon Aquarium that comes with the whole kit it is only 3 months old i payed 600.00 for it so it is worth it.(It comes with stand,heater,a lot of rocks,gem rocks, air pump,cover with the light,bubble stone,filter,4 accessories for the fish to play in,fake plants,gravel cleaner,a small fish bowl to put your fish in when you need to clean it,fish net,water test kit and a kit to correct the water,fish food,and last but not least i believe 1 guppie fish and 2 algieaters if there is and thing eles it also will go with it. the best deal i saw on CL in my area my friend picked up before i was looking to upgrade my tank. a 110 Gallon, stand, filtration, glass lids(no lights) and heater for $150. i on the other hand found the best deal i was looking for, a 75 gallon, stand, air pumps, bunch of decor/chemicals and filter media for $185. still a good deal but not a steal like he found. we saw that list at almost 11pm and i told him to call right then, who cares just call, you might not be able to get it if you wait. so he called and two days later we brought everything home.
Craigslist seems to have the range of the best deals ever, and the most-overpriced junk ever.
I keep wondering what the thought process was that got somebody to seriously try to sell a 10G with a paperboard stand and generic fixtures for, you know, $80 or $100 or $150. Are they thinking, it cost me that much to buy new, and it still seems to work, so I should get back everything I paid? Or what are they thinking?
It's like, nobody expects used cars to hold their value, or used furniture, or used anything, except aquariums! LOL
Can't beat the flip side, though, where somebody just wants that "fish junk" out of their house and gives it away or sells it for a very low price.
We should start a petition or something to get pet stores to put a sticker on the receipt that says, If you try to sell this used, please be aware that the fair asking price is 10 to 20 cents on the dollar.

I am having issues.. I kinda like this.. but they just tell me $125 delivers the setup...? I asked what filtration type.. $125 delivers.. Scam...no-scam..?

Some CL people are selling tanks left over from family members or roommates who were in the hobby then gave it up, and just dumped their stuff on the selling person. Might not know what they've got, might not really even care, they just want it gone.
