Craigslist seems to have the range of the best deals ever, and the most-overpriced junk ever.
I keep wondering what the thought process was that got somebody to seriously try to sell a 10G with a paperboard stand and generic fixtures for, you know, $80 or $100 or $150. Are they thinking,
it cost me that much to buy new, and it still seems to work, so I should get back everything I paid? Or what are they thinking?
It's like, nobody expects used cars to hold their value, or used furniture, or used anything, except aquariums! LOL
Can't beat the flip side, though, where somebody just wants that "fish junk" out of their house and gives it away or sells it for a very low price.
We should start a petition or something to get pet stores to put a sticker on the receipt that says,
If you try to sell this used, please be aware that the fair asking price is 10 to 20 cents on the dollar.
