Another dovii pic

He's looking awesome, a lot more blue than my 11" Costa Rican. Have u had any luck with tankmates or is he flying solo?

I haven't had any luck with tank mates. I put my female jagxdovii hybrid in with him, he liked her but she hated him so I took her out. Right now there's a 15 in common pleco in with him but he's already starting to bully it around. I won't try anything else until I purchase a 180g.

That's kinda surprising your female turned him down, I got a 3-4" female mota that had a huge crush on my 11" dovii and followed him everywhere but I guess he got tired of it because i found her dead this morning. And this was in a 240, he's with my 17" pacu now and won't stop chasing her. Luckily he's not actually biting which should hopefully give me time to rehome her but it's gonna be kinda sad seeing the dovii all alone again in that big tank. He doesnt bother my achara cat tho or the 2 tinfoils i bought hoping to distract him from the pacu, but I'm pretty sure he's just systematically going after the biggest fish one at a time lol. But good luck with yours, he really is coming along great

That's too bad about your mota. Do you have a video of your dovii and pacu on YouTube? I've seen a video of a dovii chasing a massive pacu.
