Haha lets see how long that lasts. I hear its very adictive and you just keep on wanting a higher grade.
I intend to buy a super red in the very near future but they are soooooooo EXPENSIVE!!

^ well helps having a wife who knows when to draw the line and the only reason i decided on the banjar was because i got the LFS guy to let me pay in installments

4) 6x2x2 [Aro, Clown Loaches, Black Ghost, Raphael Talking Catfish, Bichirs]
5) Outdoor Pond with FHs, Devils, Jaguar, Convicts and Oscars
6) 1x0.5x0.5 with a Red Siamese Fighter
7) A bigger outdoor pond which is leaking somewhere and cant find the time to rectify it

...and regarding cycling i use water from the well in my house and wont that water already have good bacteria in it?

I don't think so, the bacteria comes from ammonia, this makes nitrites. These are poison along with the ammonia but another bacteria comes and eats the nitrites and makes nitrates which are less harmful.

Why?
Fish poop and uneaten food rots and makes ammonia, then the process above happens in your tank and filter system. It takes time for ammonia to be produced by cheap fish, to bacteria colonies growing which eat it, they then make nitrite and it takes time to establish bacteria colonies which eat nitrite and produce nitrate. Until enough bacteria is colonized in your filters your tank is not cycled and toxic.

The water from your well will not contain any chlorine, which is good for water changes, you still need to establish enough bacteria in you filters first.
You may not have done this before because some fish are very hardy and can live through ammonia spikes, flower horns and Betta fish for example.
Clown loaches and Arowana are not hardy when it comes to ammonia and nitrites.

Well got my arowana, bichirs, plecos, clowns and a ghost all settled in just fine

and yes he is eating voraciously

devouring meal worms, dried shrimps and ocean free's super arowana sticks

fun to see my pack of clowns [13] steal a few shrimps from the surface when "Blaze" is not looking

I had a 1.5 banjar before, didnt care if its expensive or not, it was beautiful ...very nice pickup!
