Another fish i need ID

he said thats wht he was told when he bought them he is suppose to ask the guy he got them from but he said she spit but he had the fry and when he put them in a bag he held her again to see if she was still holding i think he hurt her but the thing is bought a trio with one feamale holding and he had the fry no egg left and i got an injered female :cry: and no fry i think he owes me the fry!!:irked:
 
Yeah, he should give you the fry, it's pretty much his fault the female died. Do you have any more females left? Well, whoever the fish came from originally, he should ID his fish better to stop confusing people.
 
How small its it? It can always turn out to be a young male. I have a young male redshoulder peacock in my tank, it looks female but is already showing it's red on its side.
 
That's a fairly good size. Just wait until it gets bigger, My brother had 8 3 inch juvies thinking they were all females until a lil guy started coloring up with its red and blue. He was very happy with the male. I can't wait until my lil guy starts coloring up though.
 
It's possible that yours are hybrids, but how does the father of your fish look like? Majority of all female peacocks look a like so there's no way you can tell.
