Another Fish ID Thread

I found this little guy in my LFS. They had it in their American Cichlid section but could not identify it. I offered them 5 bucks for it, lol. He's an inch and a half, small yellow spot on his back bottom fin. Because I was thinking american cichlid I posted a fish ID thread in that section of the forums and they directed me here, thinking it was a Hap. After their reply I looked around and the best I came up with in this short time was Haplochromis/Pundamilia nyererei. /shrug. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I'm looking around more and have come across Xystichromis sp. "Kyoga flameback."

Thoughts?

Thats a cool pick up for 5$ I dont know what it is but it looks like
