Another fun discussion: Man made polys, love it or leave it?

What do you mean by sudden death syndrome? First I have heard of this. Nice short body btw

I assume it has something to do with their compacted organs. The one above just randomly died, never found a cause. Was doing fine the night before.

Oh right, I thought you meant polys in general.

When it comes to the man made bichirs, I do miss my albino sen. Would have kept it if it ever got bigger than 7". In fact the person who has it has said its still the same size but just fatter around.

Funny thing is I dont like a lot of albino fishes but do like the albino sen. I also like platnium endli, but my wallet does not. So I will never own one unless I happen to walk into a store with a mismarked one for cheap, lol.

Should clarify I like good looking platnium endli. Not the wierdly deformed mutant ones with the odd head shapes.

I recently did a 'Leave it' at a LFS for a couple 12-13" man made Delhezi. Nice patterns on both, but the typical captive bred fatness look is not what I'm going for. Wish I took a pic.

12 to 13 ' del....damn i woukd have scooped them up quick....mine seems stuck at 8ish
