To me this is almost like a Eheim vs. Fluval question. Both the AC110 and FX5 are awsome. With lets just say $175.00 difference budget may or may not be a issue. Have the money FX5 in a heartbeat. Otherwise the 110 pushes some water and is also a awsome filter.
