Another G. winemilleri update

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have decided that I'm going to pay you to grow out all of my fish for me and just return them when they're huge and beautiful. Seriously, mine seem to grow so slooooow but you post all these threads with amazing fish. :nilly:

I never cared too much for geos until a few months ago but pictures like these changed my mind. Hopefully you'll see some fry soon!

lol I don't think so :grinno:. The discus and Uaru I got from you are the nicest I've seen ;) Just keep dumping food in the tank and they'll have a growth spurt soon :D

I spoke too soon - a pair just formed and are courting/cleaning rocks :nilly:

Awesome. It was only a matter of time.

This thread got me looking at pictures of different species of Geos. I was kinda thinking about changing my 75 and doing a group of Geos. This thread, and looking at different pictures/species, made me even more stoked to do this with my 75. Are Winemilleri pretty hard to come by? I really like Red Heads too, so maybe when I eventually change my tank, I will go with those.

G. winemilleri does seem less common, maybe because it's newly described. They might get too big for a 75g - I have them in a 90g, which has the same footprint, and it looks really crowded :( Orange heads max out around 7-8" and a small group may be ok in a 75g.
