I know, I'll apologise now. Bad PIC and another goonch ID thread but if you can give me an idea please

These come from a very good shop and one of the manegers is a member so this is more for me to confirm what I'll be getting into.

ok more pictures. but first let me just say MFK is to blame for this hahaha.

so having sat on here and read about these on this site seen the thread and wanted one, but never really looked except a few years back when i was told no one could order them or if they did they never came in. so in my head i had it that 10yrs later its was still the same situation and i was happy with that.

until i had to make a trip north and was passing Aquaman45 place of work....

in the tank was two marked as Bagarius yarelli and i had a tank after recent move about so i have taken the plunge. bit of an impulse buy in that i seen them on the shop site so know they had them, know i had a tank for now and know a bit about them, so I am aware of the size this will achieve. so got it on hold spent 3 day up north thinking and making sure this is what i'm will to commit too and happy to part with the cash for so on my return journey i picked the largest of the two up.

it's 6"TL and apparently feeding on pellet so happy with that. he doesn't seem phased by the 200 mile journey but i'll leave him tonight to settle in, i need to make a few adjustments to the tank tomorrow but should be fine for tonight.

Legend, nice to see this one with somebody I know has the funds and passion to care for it properly.
 
i suppose my years playing with koi and sturgeon are going to pay off now when it comes to a pond for this hahahaha

his tank is at the bottom of my bed so not sure i'll sleep much tonight hahaha
 
Nice Shane I'm very very jealous right now mate lol , where you been staying up north ? You should have hit me up I'd have done a shop run with you ;)

i was the other side of the Pennines mate, but next time i'm up that way i will def let you know this trip wasn't really planned as my eldest lives up there and dropped the news i'm becoming a grandad so figured like all grandads i got to have a true monster to scare the little ones with hahaha

(or is it a true monster tank that will conveniently need work so i can hide away with when the grand baby visit????)
 
Congratulations grandad , yeah give me a shout mate we'll go round a few of them if I'm around.
Monster tank is always a good excuse to hide away when baby starts crying lol big wc's take time
 
lol you read my mind mate, next step is to buy a house to keep all my monsters in, and i mean ill be buying a house that will fit them all in. then i can get a monster pond built.

most of the houses we been looking at will fit a nice fish house in the garden, it will be for the cooler species like the SH and now this beast. so one massive pond with a smallish tank in there lol.

may be a couple of other tanks will find there way in too hahaha
