as some of u *may* know i recently just got my ct betta to spawn for me unfortunately male is too young and ate the eggs till in day2, none was left.

anyway so here comes friday i got my APRIL edition of TFH which had this beautiful betta as front page and over 6 pages of it discussing and Showcasing various betta photos... man after reading it was my hand itching to go to my LFS!!! ...i guess u know what happened next...

I GOT 4 NEW BETTAS for 10bucks!!! :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2
in total i have 6 male bettas (5ct:1vt) and 4 females (2ct:2vt) :D
its not my fault!!! its the TFH's magazines fault! :grinno:

my bettas in order of appreance:
1st pic: new ct #1
2nd pic: new ct #2
3rd pic: flaring ct 1 & 2
4th pic: new purple base veiltail
5thpic: new ct #3
6th pic: flaring vt & ct#3
(sorry my poor camera skill dont do this beautiful fish judgments. :()

Those are some sweet bettas:D .......:headbang2

I had a real nice bright red crowntail that jumped on me after 1 week of having him..............that makes it 2 in a month!!!:( :(
 
Sweet looking bettas. I've been thinking of adding a male betta to my community tank but afraid that it would pick on my featherfin rainbows.

Great looking bettas! What do you call the bettas with the torn-up fin look?

owww.. sorry about that, next time remember to cover their tanks theyre like arowanas, the love to jump :screwy: hehe, anyway wouldnt hurt to get another one!

thanks! u can do that! male bettas are pretty peaceful on a community tank. in my experience betta "aggresion" is overrated.

thanks! they are called crowntai bettas because theyre fin resembles a "crown".
 
One of my best friends lil brothers attempted to kill his betta he's kept for about 6 months in a bowl today so he asked if he could put it in my 37 gallon and it's been in there for a couple hours and it has established its own territory already in a tank with my Electric Blue African whom the betta RAMMED into full speed!:WHOA: I couldn't believe it but apparently the tough lil guy is gonna be around for a while :D

This is my 2nd betta ever (1st being one I had when I was probably 10) and I've already begun to grow a soft spot in my heart for the lil guy. He sure is a beautiful crown tail, I'll try to get some nice pictures of him sometime soon
