Don't mean to argue but I'll ask the question, aren't red zebras known for being hostile towards other fish?

If anyone needs to know, Venustus are incredibly hard to catch

I think I have convinced hubby to build me a 140 gal plywood tank, then I can go back and get the venustus- I really liked those guys- talk about personality!
They are great, but they get meaner when they are bigger and small fish are open to eat! Since I got rid of my nimbos I have a crap ton of fry out and even more new ones... It has only been a month

That was what worried me about keeping them in the 55 until I got a bigger tank- not that they'd actually get to 10 inches before I upgraded, but that in a small tank they would kill the other fish I had when they got a little older.
