Well I guess love is in the air in my tank. The only other fish I have that I wasnt sure was male was my yellow lab. Well I just watched the yellow lab mate with my iodotropheus sprengerae. Can I put the yellow lab in the 20g that I have the holding ngara flametail in?

Huh... I wouldn't do it. I tried with a peacock and mbuna and they didn't like it at all. Constant stress and fights.

Could I put a divider in the 20 gal and put the yellow lab on one side? Or will that still stress them both out?

Ive tried the divider idea and it doesn't work the moms can still see each other, so they think there is a threat and then they wont spit,
Putting 2 prego females in the same tank is a bad idea whether they are the same fish or not
Have you considered just leaving the 2 females in the main tank, the fry are gonna be hybrids anyway, i say you leave them and see what happens, a few mite survive, thats what i did when my scoifoli and chewere male spawned in my assorted tank
