Well I guess love is in the air in my tank. The only other fish I have that I wasnt sure was male was my yellow lab. Well I just watched the yellow lab mate with my iodotropheus sprengerae. Can I put the yellow lab in the 20g that I have the holding ngara flametail in?

Huh... I wouldn't do it. I tried with a peacock and mbuna and they didn't like it at all. Constant stress and fights.

Well they have been living together in the main tank. The yellow lab is very peaceful and even gets picked on by the haps and peacocks.

So can anyone tell me if its ok for them both to be in a 20g with a divider? Or is this just going to stress both of them out?

Ive tried the divider idea and it doesn't work the moms can still see each other, so they think there is a threat and then they wont spit,

Putting 2 prego females in the same tank is a bad idea whether they are the same fish or not

Have you considered just leaving the 2 females in the main tank, the fry are gonna be hybrids anyway, i say you leave them and see what happens, a few mite survive, thats what i did when my scoifoli and chewere male spawned in my assorted tank

if you somehow darkened the divider to where they couldnt see through it, it might be fine...

The females are getting harassed really bad in the main tank. They are the only 2 females in the tank (they were supposed to be males :irked:) , I am 100% sure that the rest of the fish are males.
