The females are getting harassed really bad in the main tank.

well thats cause they are the only 2 females in a male tank, that problem wont go away, unless you make the females go away

I know. I am going to find a new home for the yellow lab. The ngara flametail I am considering keeping and breeding in a different tank.

well if you do decide to breed them your gonna wanna get a few more females, 1m 1f isnt a good ratio when breeding, you dont want your male only picking on 1 female

Yeah I plan on getting more. I might just try and find the female a new home though, I dont know that I would be able to sell the fry or juveniles locally, there doesnt seem to be much interest in cichlids here in las vegas.

Well I am sure I see little eggs in my yellow labs mouth, but its still eating. Isnt it pretty uncommon for a holding fish to eat?
