Just picked up another ray here and pretty sure once again the LFS had it labeled wrong as a Histrix. So what is everybodys take on this one? And thanks for everyones input too
I would guess a stressed orb/humerosa as they are often mislabeled as histrix. Is it just me or is the disk around the tail a little misshapen and his claspers very far apart?
A very skinny Peruvian 'Histrix', that are super-common and really inexpensive. It could be a number of species, as the Peruvian 'Histrix' has no exact classification. Sometimes I wonder if the fishermen get confused themselves.
