ahhh really? I swear every time I see a channel catfish they look different...

They can change in appearance quite a bit as they grow. Put a shiny silver baby and a big dark blue adult together and they look like two separate species.

Yeah that's a channel cat, just a fairly dark colored one.

Get a clearer photo. Looks like a channel but could be a rita rita though a rita rita has a sharper dorsal but rita rita.

Looks like my old 18" channel cat. Great fish to have.
