Yes he does look like that i would have said that.

But he hasn't got a redtail and the price my dad bought him for at the LFS it's definatly not a RTC.

It cost £5 which is $9 if you can buy a RTC for that price GIVE ME A THOUSAND OF THEM !!!

My first thought was that it was an Asian RTC as well. I know most of the small Asian RTCs I have seen did not have noticable red tails, but they all had the same white whiskers that yours has.

You say ASIAN not AMERICAN i was thinking American sorry Fella i didn't mean to doubt you.

So are we saying ASIAN ? Yeah !
 
The only one fish i'd be concerned about would be the RED FINNED APPOLO SHARK as he only grows to 10" and all my other fish exceed 15".

But there is no need to worrie at the moment as the ARTC is only 3.5" and very thin, He still has a lot of growing to do which should be a pleasure to see.

Funny thing was i was going to give him to my pal but think i'll keep him now.
