Without a doubt it's a female pink convict. I don't even think there are Africans that would look close to that

red top zebras have similiar bars and the albino red top zebras look kinda close

When i saw the pic the first thing that came to me was african, but we took a run over to the shop where it was bought and had a look for ourselves and without a doubt its a convict.

No doubt a pink con!. Not unusual, what so ever, for a female pink con to have the yellow belly spots exhibated to a large extent as stripes. Have had quite few with that similar pattern. I'm sure some striped female cons have the same pattern with their yellow belly spots, but it is obscured by the darkness of the stripes.

The girl rang and they've agreed a refund but we called into the store yesterday to see them in the flesh and they're definitely convicts and they're still selling them as severums. Glad shes taking them back cos thats our wee geos she has in with them
