Another installment of i.d. My syno!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I believe he was speaking of this syno

http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=1062

You have to remember that species names are used in other types of fish the same. It's the species paired with the genus name that determines which frontosa you're talking about. In this case the frontosa he was referring to was Synodontis frontosa. :) hope this helps.

To add to this I will not confirm that this is the species you have because I don't know. Just sorting something. Back to the ID!!!! ;)

Sorry. Not a catfish guy.:D

Yea not the hemisynodontis lol I'm leaning towards s. frontosa cuz under good light u can see the spots on his body and IMO it looks identical. Could also be a hybrid lol last question what price would be fair on this guy?

Nothing wrong with that :) The reason for my saying so is that I regularly see LFSs selling big synos of unremarkable appearance, hybrids or not, for $20-$30. But people's luck varies :)
