OK,
This question's been asked a million times, but all answers and ref's are based on WOOD floors.
I live in an Apt. above the garage in my building and my floor is CONCRETE.
Next Week I'm getting a 350 gal. which will weigh about 3,000 lbs.(when full).
So, will my floor be able to support this tank???

unfortunately, like all the other 'can my floor support the weight' threads, no one on this board can properly answer the question without knowing specifics about the building which usually means inspecting it personally, seeing 'as built' drawings etc.

all we can do is provide an educated guess.

obviously, concrete floors can support considerably more weight in one area than a wooden floor with wooden joists, but 3500 pounds is a hell of a lot of weight in one relatively small area....

just try it and see what happens.

I thought my sub floor in my basement would collapse under all my tanks and it held up.
assemble 10-12 big dudes...have them jump on the floor at the location you wanna put the tank...

If they wind up in the floor under you, no go...

if they look like a dozen big guys jumping up and down in your place, I'd say OK...

Well, I don't know that many big dudes. LOL!
But here's a couple pics of the ceiling from the garage underneath me.

-there are cracks all over the place. I forgot to mention I already have a 210 gal that I've had for a couple yrs with no probs.
Regardless of cracks, I'm guessing that there's got to be rebar in there. How can you have just a sheet of concrete with out some sort of steel reinforcement?
Also- the tank would be parallel to the beam, not the direction of the crack.
