10g is really too small for them BUT...
You MIGHT be able to get away with it for a little while if you setup the tank right.
I posted this pic in another thread but here's what I did to protect my female Con that was initially an inch compared to the male that's about 4.5"...
By putting the pot on top of a pipe of PVP and some rocks, it gave enough room for the female to retreat quickly and the male couldn't fit inside without a lot of effort. Even when he's really pissed and determined she can move in and out to keep him from getting a hold of her. It allowed them to breed from day one without major damage to the female. She still needs pot setup as such to reduce his constant harassment.
But the bottom line is, you need a 29g tank for longterm success.
