"Fellas".... Delta told me for a few bucks insurance covers all tropical fish up to $5,000 dollars the fee is between....$4-$6 bucks per $1000 dollars and covers all and any DOA airlines caused... Delays... Smashed packages...not properly kept warm..meaning not kept in heated cargo or stored in heated room apon arrival until picked up!
The assured me as long as fish or fishes are shipped as "Live" or "Tropical fish" and any of those guidelines ^^^ are no followed, and results in D.O.A then the airline insurance covers 100% up to $5,000

i have only try to ship twice and both went wrong i will never do it again
i know pick up is not always poss in the US but if someone wants a fish that bad a 300 mile drive each way is nothing for a pet you will love as much as a dog
