Another new pick up...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
She looks to be a hybrid to me - Also I see she has a sunken belly (skinny) you need to get her back on the right track. If all she's eating right now is shrimp then shove two or three massivore pellets in the shrimp before feeding her so she get's everything she needs to fatten back up and get healthy again - Nice cichla! ;)

Hybrid shmybrid. LoL. I'm kidding I'll take your word on it. Thinking ocell/mono???
Fed last night with stuffed shrimp. He spit out the pellets. I will keep working on her though. She shows interest but then backs off.
I have noticed she watches the other eat and doesn't seem so sure what to do. The Orino only eats from the top and the kelberi the bottom. But they do eat hikari foods only. Don't care for worms or shrimps and such.

Here bro - below is a photo of a pure occellaris - Note the occell (the spot lined in yellow) near the back of the body before the tail. This is how you can ID a occellaris, also a lot of occellaris have red eyes - Hopes this helps answer your question bro.
