Another nut with a gun.

Jaws they are watching what we do on the web any way now they want to make it look legal. Look at what happened in California with Apple. Apple really should have opened that phone. As they could have been hiding more terrorists from the FBI. The main thing is though that the internet is aiding terrorism more than we know. We have no protection on it any way with all the hackers and the gov. wathing us. The point we always have to worry aboit is how far they wil take these laws they put in. As I have said before these kinds of things open the doors for a government state. We have lost so much already and don't even know it.

I really do agree with you but in the case of the internet i dont care if they read my emails or go through my whole hard drive in the small hope that they are snooping for what they say they are snooping for (terrorists/radicalism)

At this point the internet is their most powerful weapon, we can ban everything down to plastic knives, have another lengthy war and thousands will die but all it takes is one lowlife in a cave with an internet connection and nothing changes. They'll still spread their hate and weak minds will soak it up.

The DOD basically created the internet to begin with so agree they probably are looking for ways to make it more legal and i wouldnt be surprised if they are snooping already but with all the restrictions on how to prosecute/investigate must not be able to do anything with the info

we too are doing exactly what they want... making it about gun control not terrorism (me included ) we're all worried about president wanting to take away guns and not worried about what he's REALLY doing.

hello; I get your point. The guy even pledged to ISIS. The trouble being that the gun control advocates immediately twisted the incident to their agenda. That very large numbers of law abiding citizens already own some version of an "assault rifle" and do not commit crimes with them does not sem to register.

I think another possible explaination may be that there is very little the average citizen can do about terrorist. The issue of gun control, however, does affect many of us directly. Millions of us own firearms and the larger number will never use their guns against a human. A few may have to use one in self defense which is allowable to my way of thinking.

I am an old man and if left alone will never harm a person. I do live alone and want to be able to protect myself. I fail to see how restricting my right to own the firearms of my preference will be of any advantage at all.

Some people like to play golf. I do not. I like to fly fish and go to a fireing range. I make expensive holes in paper targets. Some of the guns I use at a range are never considered for personal defense. One is a Garrand I bought and presented to my father many years ago. He was a Marine on Sipan, Tinnian and Iwo Jima. It hung on his wall for many years until he passed. Did he need to own a military weapon like the one he used? Maybe not, but there was never any thing else I gave him that meant as much. I now have it. I want to be able to keep it.

Oh no i get your point and am in no way tryong to say anyone is wrong for what ever feelings or fear the arises when somwthing like this happens. I too do not want our firearm right to be taken away, but i feel like we are doing exactly what they want us to do... talk about the fear of us losing something that we have a rigjt to keep while they can get away with pushing their sick twisted agenda and lack of concern.

My kids only have me to protect them, not secret service agents and i find it appalling that amongst other things this guy cant say even utter the term radical islam, that in trying to defend innocent muslims he feels the need to say things like "oh well the christians were the same way a thousand yrs ago just take a look at the crusades", that my tax dollars are going to be spent on a refugee program that many of our top officials say cannot be properly vetted and theres starving people right here in our own back yard. All this when he and hillary had a huge role in the actual creation of what we are now dealing with

278 posts on this thread and all valid but most of it about gun control...see we too are doing exactly what they want... making it about gun control not terrorism (me included ) we're all worried about president wanting to take away guns and not worried about what he's REALLY doing.
I like how the media keeps trying to hide the fact that the shooter himself was g@y. They always phrase it as he only went to the club in the past to 'scout' it out.

Funny...the libtards are doing a sit-in in a failed attempt to pass a gun control bill....meanwhile in Germany, a gunman fired shots in a movie theater. I heard Germany has very strict gun control.

Big vote today. Seems like Britain is really concerned with where germany's 8000+ refugees are going to end up

Take them in seems to be the answer to all governments but Turkey. What do they know that we don't. Hope they are told they all get guns so they can pledge alleigence to ISIS. Then we can have another Orlando incident and blame it on the law abiding citizens.
