Man I wish us Canadians had a second amenment. We don't own our property and have no right to protect it if we did. My heart goes out to you guys and I hope you can fight what is comming. It still seems to me that the FBI has as much blame as anyone in this mess.
I don't have all the facts but this guy slipped through a lot of cracks.
I wonder if the president will want to disarm your police as well. Seeing as they also have a permit to have guns it would only make sense. The only reason I can think of for government to disarm their people. Is if they are doing something that puts them in fear of an uprising.

no chance of the guv disarming us, I personally feel there should restrictions on assault rifles with large mags. assault rifles period. I am a weapon toting licensed carrier, I have never felt the need to own an assault rifle, if I hunted I would own a hunting rifle, not an assault rifle.

He is already trying to take away special service units out of the police force as well as specialty gear like armored vehicles and riot type gear.

Not a hunter either but whats the diff if this guy had 10 hand guns or the ar ? Plus from what i understand he midified it making it essentially automatic. Problem with this crap is the bad guys are usually the only ones packing. FBI screwed the pooch on this
Whats the deal with gun shows ? Is it really much easier to purchase at them ?
It's easy to say that the FBI dropped the ball here but the ultimate blame goes to potus.....that spilled blood is on his hands.
There is no gunshow loophole.That is a term made up by the antis.In order to LEGALLY purchase you must go through the same process that you would at a legitimate gun store....
Hello; Folks do hunt with the AR type rifle. No notion of how many, but more than a few. This platform has many available accessories making it adaptable to many uses. It is also available in a few calibers and ammo types, many of which are suitable for game. I recently got a notice to rerport feral hogs here in my area of Tennessee. Tha AR platform is reported to be a good one for these destructive pests.
Hello; If you buy from a legally lisensed dealer (with a FFL) you will have to go thru the same background check application at a gun show as in a store. There are often private citizens who come to these shows with a firearms they are willing to trade or sell to each other. This would be similar to any private sale anywhere At least so far. Folks buy, trade or sell personal property often and this is still legal.
Hello; A likely issues with no fly -no buy will be a lot of people winding up on these lists that should not be. It is my undeerstanding these lists are not open to the public. I also have heard that folks wrongly on such lists have a very hard time getting such issues cleared up.
Another likely result is that all semi-autos will be lumped together. For example the ruger 10-22 is also banned in australia silmly because it is a semi-auto.
