Hello; Yes this as well as many others can be used. Even some pistols. Deer hunters around here also use shotguns with slugs for deer. Lever action, bolt action, muzzle loaders, pump action and semi auto types can all be used. I guess the point I was driving at is that the AR platform is flexable in applications, as are many other platforms.

True, I wasn't disagreeing with you. They're a big problem in my region as well.

Hello; If you buy from a legally lisensed dealer (with a FFL) you will have to go thru the same background check application at a gun show as in a store. There are often private citizens who come to these shows with a firearms they are willing to trade or sell to each other. This would be similar to any private sale anywhere At least so far. Folks buy, trade or sell personal property often and this is still legal.

Hello; A likely issues with no fly -no buy will be a lot of people winding up on these lists that should not be. It is my undeerstanding these lists are not open to the public. I also have heard that folks wrongly on such lists have a very hard time getting such issues cleared up.

Another likely result is that all semi-autos will be lumped together. For example the ruger 10-22 is also banned in australia silmly because it is a semi-auto.

Im a big supporter of our right to bear arms and feel that even if someone had a 1 round zip gun that night there could have been a chance to save allot of lives.

This is a problem for all of us. We cant even remotely trust this current administration but how do we win this in the long haul --- no one wants new gun laws, surveillance of certain places of religious worship, censorship or more stringent surveillance of the internet, people wont even utter certain terms because it offensive.
 
. .....and as it turns out the weapon that was used was NOT an AR15....That whole thing got started after an Orlando law enforcement officer wrongly assumed that the weapon used was an AR and described it as such during one of the initial press conferences.
 
Hitlery Clinton has alrady suggested that when she gets in office she and her Supreme Court apointees will do everything they can to repeal the second amendment,her daughter even has been running around saying it.This is just one of the many reasons that she cannot be allowed to win.
 
I heard Trump on the news tonight say that if others would have had a gun problem solved. Not sure about Trump but at least he is not politically correct and that is a nice change. Some have said here no need for assult rifles just one type of gun leads to a ban on all.
I believe your political system is way better than ours. You have a say make it count in November this election has a lot riding on it. Don't let your county go down the tube like we have ours.

This is why part of me wants the no fly no buy.... if you can buy a gun while under investigation and they approve it. How would they explain how its ok to run for pres while being under federal investigation ;)

Sig Sauer MCX was the exact weapon.The AR15 has become the symbol of the evil black rifle.
I wouldn't be opposed to no fly-no buy and good point with the investigation example.
