another p14 pup

well after going over to holland to get a pair of p14 pups 3 months ago i needed another female for my breeding trio and Frank Z had one so off i went again

that is the last time i will be doing that trip

i left my house at 7am and didnt get back home until 9pm and only spent 1hr at franks house

rays grow very very fast the new pup i picked up was the same size as the larger female you can see in this pic in the poly box

i will post pics later to show the 2 female together to show just how much growing the female from the last pick up has grown

i was shocked

hear is a pic i just took of the female from the last batch and the new one from yesterday

both the rays you see were the same size 3 months ago now thats what i call fast growth

NO they were thew same size when i got them the smaller one i got yeaterday is 3 months younger than the larger one

Yuor P14's really do look great when they grow bigger and darker.

Is the new one settled and eating already?

What is their max size again?

i always thought that females got alot larger than males but after seeing franks rays again their is not much in it

i would say 16inch max for a p14

shes hunting around looking for food with the other 2 rays i will feed them at about 2pm

Are your P14s all related? Maybe from the same parents but from a different batch of pups? If so, wouldn't it be better to acquire rays from different sources to avoid inbreeding?

they are from different breeders the 1st batch were frome guys in germany (not sure of the guys names ) which i got 5 months ago at which time didn have any pups avalible so they aranged for some pups to be picked up from germany

but the sales all went through frank
