ok yesterday we removed the fish lice from my ray an now he seems too be actin weird kinda looks like he is breathing hard an just layin there does anyone no what this could be? an no harsh comments plz!:nilly:

prob just stressed. try to leave him b as much as possible and i would do daily 10% waterchanges. a litle salt wouldnt hurt also...

ok thanks i was gonna go get sum ghost shrimp 2 put in would that be a good idea or juat leave him alone?

I'd just leave him alone for now. He's really stressed with the traveling, and removing fish lice isn't exactly a relaxing event. I had to do the same to two of my retics, and while they breathed hard for a while afterwards, they recovered fine.

Just turn the lights off, do small daily water changes, and try not to bug him for a few days (but keep an eye on him!).

Good luck!

ok yea i did a water change this mornin an i also put a blanket over the tank! so when would be good 2 get him ghost shrimp? thanks

i treated the water an we removed them by hand im waiting on a better medicine i just ordered yyesterday

Just FYI, you've probably only killed the adult stages of the parasite. Most meds only take out the adult stages via a chiton inhibitor (prevents them from living through the molting process). You'll have eggs/larval stages to deal with in the near future. I'd look into a prolonged treatment.

you should have food availible to it now...shrimps wouldn't be bad to have in the tank so it could hunt them when it feels like it...
