yea i have worms in there i went too the lfs where i trust buying my foods an fish from an they was closed so ill get him ghost shrimp tomorrow i thought about gettin 5 or 6 so i could keep track of them what do u guys say?

if the ray is the only one in the tank then you could keep a count...other wise it is hard to tell who is eatting them with out seeing it...did you go with TFD?

yes i did an i also ordered sum frontosas but they are small idk if they will eat them?

depends how small they are...the shrimp are small aswell...i never had luck with my rays eatting ghost shrimp...they always pushed them into the sand and never ate them...more like they were laughing at them stuck in the sand...

lol yea where would i ppurchase earth worms or what else should i offer him? i have black worms already an my frontosas sre about an inch in a half not very big!!

i had the same problem with mine besides the lice stacy.

ive had mine for 10 days, and they are both very active and eating blackworms, i was nervous at first too. the male is a little thin but ive been feeding 2 teaspoons of blackworms twice a days and hes coming around. he hardly ever buries himself in the sand anymore. unless im doing a water change but after he comes right back out. im goinig to stick with just blackworms for about a month then start to try earthworms and krill.

btw my male took a solid week to start eating.

you could get earth worms from wal-mart sporting goods...like <$3 for 20 crawlers...

Try getting some black worms. A healthy ray never refuses black worms. Also, if you try night crawlers, make sure to cut them up small enough. If they are not small enough the ray may not eat them.
