Another red devil or midas? thread

Gourgous Hybrid. Lips are more devil, but forhead is more Midas. Should have great coloation though when he is full grown.

I think he's a looker too. He is about 8" TL. I am looking forward to him filling in.

Those markings are awesome looking. Like a white fish dragged its belly in orange paint. Looks more midas to me.

I think he looks more midas-biased, too. He was spawning in the tank where he was housed in the LFS, and was very humped out. He looked even more midas-like then.

yeah i mean more than likely a mix, but if i had to choose one i would definitely go for midas, i would almost go as far as to say he is a pure creamsicle midas but of course there is no where to tell that for sure without knowing where he came from... either way that is definitely a looker, hang on to him and keep us updated on his growth

Gorgeous indeed! I tried hunting some of these down recently for my tank and had no luck. I have only ever seen one of them in a LFS, i bought it, and my other red devil/midas ended up killing it. Sadness. Whatever he is, he is a keeper!!!

Personally, i see more Cit in the facial feature's.

He looks alot better without such a large nuchal hump, imo. Diggin' his marking's.
