Another Retard on CL...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
these are just getting silly... someone flamed a guy selling a 72 bowfront with TONS of equiptment for 450. not that bad.

poor guy probably bought it for ridiculous LFS prices, take that into account and food costs+electricity costs too get it that size and i doubt he will be making a ridiculous profit.

From a guys who has relatives that are affected by Downs Syndrome I agree. It's right up there with the "N" word as far as I'm concerned. Just my two cents.

I'm in the same boat, and I agree 100%. It's extremely offensive.
Also, why is this so bad? The guy wants his fish to get a good home. Why is that bad? So what if the price is high? It's his fish, he can sell it for whatever he wants. I'm really tired of these CL threads showing "bad" prices. If you don't like the price, don't buy the product. It's as simple as that.

Just remember that not everyone takes the hobby as serious as we do and when it comes to price values, they probably bought it for that amount or maybe even more.

Perhaps he priced it at $200 so some smuck with a 55g or 75g doesn't try to buy it.
We see it way to often where people have a huge fish in a small tank.

that is a damn good point. at the higher price ranges its only usually serious hobbiests who have serious money to spend that will buy a fish at that price. could be a good tactic by the seller.

That's why I just picked up an 18-20 inch CK. Had outgrown it's 75 gallon home. The guy had spent a few weeks trying to get rid of it and just hadn't found the right "idiot" yet with the space for it.
