well i couldnt get a pic of the female she was not coming out of her spot

hes 8 months old got him at 1.5 in
notice the lack of coloring on his face my female is covered with color where he is not( on the face)

this is him hes about 11-12cms big as teeth when he opens his mouth got him with my big female she now doesnt hide i have taken all the smaler jds out as well so hopefully they will bond n hve fry soon ..i hope

i have really crappy lighting ones a pink light in a 3 ft light and a 4 ft light with a sun glo i think ... i got them from a friend ughh but i got a pic of my male n female today and the tank that there in
he likes to hide still and she getting black n her lower body but it doesnt look like breeding colours though ... he waves at her once every night mayb lol

I like experimenting with lighting. Right now I have two 6700k lights with a yellow tinge on the out sides of my tank with a 10,000k in the middle. Once my 6700ks burn out i plan on picking up some more 10,000k or mybe a 50/50 they will bring out the colors well in your jack dempseys.
Your tank looks very nicely setup btw, ya i agree not breeding dress, they usually get much darker but it looks like there on there way possibley. What size tank is that?
