Ive done Cichlids before so Id like to stay away from those

I currently have a 42G hex with a Green Severum, Bichir and African Butterfly fish (weird mix I know but its worked great so far)

I would perhaps LIKE to go with a puffer but I know finding good tankmates can be a problem. I also like having the idea of having a smaller number of larger tank mates to max out the tank (like my current tank)

Anyways as always Im open to suggestions and thanks in advance for any input

nothing personal but i dont understand these questions... how can we possibly decide what fish you should take. Its your tank so you should decide what you like. Also, we do not know what fish your lfs has in stock or is able to order. We can mention all kinds of cool fish but if you cant get them...

Ordering online FTW

I also like to hear other options I havent thought of. No harm in that

well i see one fish in there already......what's in there already that you can add onto?

what are the dimensions? id get either one oscar by itself or a fahaka puffer by itself.

I havent taken delivery of the tank yet just put a down payment on it. The owner is getting rid of all the current fish in it before I get it.

Not a fan of Oscars, the fahaka is something Im considering though

You could probably do a fahaka in there, you could definetly do more then one oscar though.......
